Karen Roberts, Vice President
Karen Roberts began her court reporting career nearly 25 years ago after graduating from The Stenotype Institute of Jacksonville. Karen is a seasoned court reporter and scopist who has traveled nationally to work in tobacco and asbestos litigation cases.
She has provided daily transcripts in several major trials, including ford rollover litigation, pharmaceutical litigation and many other high profile cases. Moving her career into a management role, she oversees the production and scheduling departments. Karen is a Registered Professional Reporter and a Certified Manager of Reporting Services.
Karen is also a member of the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting and the National Court Reporters Association. Karen is involved in a number of local causes and non-profit organizations, including the MUSC Go Red! Heart 5K Run & Walk campaign, East Cooper Meals on Wheels and Respite Care Charleston. She is a participating member of the LowCountry Emmaus Community and is active in Bible Study Fellowship and other ministries within her local church. She additionally spends her “free time” attending her sons many athletic events.
